Ammalife will support potentially worthwhile projects and programmes with clear objectives and goals that fit with Ammalife's mission and objectives, and propose effective strategies and tactics for implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and sustainability beyond project's life.

How will potential project requests be assessed?
All project requests will be assessed by the Ammalife Project Appraisal Committee. The committee will carefully consider each application for projects/programmes and make a judgement on the potential merits of each project/programme, and will make a recommendation on whether Ammalife could support a particular application, and to what extent. The committee will consider the following broad issues when appraising a project/programme application:
- Whether the project/programme falls within Ammalife's mission and objectives.
- Potential effects of the proposed project/programme.
- Feasibility of successful implementation.
- Sustainability of the project beyond project's life.
- Resource implications
- Possibilities for collaboration
- Support from the community, existing healthcare system, and other governmental and non-governmental organisations.
The committee's considerations will result in the production of a Project Appraisal Report (PAR), and PARs for successful applications will be published on this Ammalife website; PARs for unsuccessful applications will be made available only to the applicants, with feedback from the Project Appraisal Committee.
