Life Saving Journeys

The Havelian Project provides life-saving transport to birth centres and hospitals for labouring or critically ill pregnant women. It spans across 50 villages, and their surrounding areas in Pakistan. Several of these villages are spread across mountains, often with dangerously steep and narrow roads.

Hospital Partnership

Birmingham Women’s Hospital and Gogo Chatinkha maternity unit with the help and support of the charity Ammalife have formed a health link. This mutual partnership sets out to be effective, sustainable, and appropriate.

“At Our Mothers’ Feet” campaign

Ammalife is partners with MADE in Europe, in the campaign to raise awareness of maternal death within developing countries. The campaign “At Our Mothers’ Feet” aims to inspire UK Muslim communities to take action to combat maternal deaths worldwide.
