Stanley Daudi, Ammalife Bursary holder, is about to begin his final year at medical school in Tanzania. This year Stanley will be working in some of Dar Es Salaam’s busiest hospitals. His studies cover Internal Medicine viagra pas cher and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
We asked Stanley about some of the challenges he’d faced last year. In addition to the usual pressures of study, Stanley was learning Swahili at night so that he could better communicate with patients. He loved working on the paediatric wards but found it very hard to see children dying for want of basic drugs or a simple blood transfusion.
Stanley has been doing research on sepsis caused by umbilical cord infection – we take for granted having clean water, soap and sterile blades. Stanley doesn’t. Ammalife looks forward to publishing Stanley’s work on the website soon.
